Yes i doing this as well ever since i read this one from Godzilla samurai not his new one the previous. i decided to do one

10. the host(2006) it was an ok film, as for the monster is was abit average. Yes mutants are good to see as a monster but this was a bit rough for that anyway still not bad as i thought it would be.

9.eight legged freaks(2002) yes this one surpising makes my top ten for some reason actually. one the film is very screwy and funny as hell, i like the work on the spiders. the one scene that made me laugh the hardest was when the spider and the police officer(the fat one can't remember his name) fought with a spider unknown at the time in the air event then the spider shocks the crap out him self sounding like his was donald duck XD. still not an all time favorite still awsome just for the comedy it self

8. tremors (yes i mean all the forms dammit!) (1990 up til 2004 legend begins i think it was) all i can say is damn what really happened in the past when i saw this one. the first time i saw this was when i was 6 or 7. the worms actually made me wonder if there were such animals in the dinosaur eras or not i know its fictional but hey i was kid. the designs for each form was ok, but what really got me was that the worms, shreikers and ass blasters got smarter each time. this is worthy to be in my top 10

7. The blob(1958) what i can say is it was of its time. i mean it started "the government is behind every giant monster" well except cloverfield (i'll hit that movie later) that this monster was the one to make me laugh and enjoy the movie cause if you watch it the monster is just a huge ass pile of bubble gum in still motion, but other then that i like the effects they had for it like the kid melting away in the sewer.(the main character's love interest little brother.)

6. Boa vs. python(2004) WHAT CAN I SAY?! that i have a weakness for reptiles, when i first saw this movie i thought it was giant snakes fighting through the entire thing, but it surpised me that the python tried to screw the boa XD so its worthy to me.

5. All Harryhausen monster ever made (Forever) YES DAMMIT I AGREE with godzilla samurai on this selection. i mean damn i love harryhausen, He is legendary!.

very honrable mention is: Varan the unbeleiveable yes i like Varan i mean he has barely any acknowledgement in movies with a few final wars, Destroy all monster. So yes he's an honor in my book

4. Dinocroc(2004) yes i liked this movie another genetic shit type of movie not to mention, the monster was awsome not to mention it let me remember what steve irwin did before his death god bless him.

3. Gutstave(2007 and the real crocdile gutstave) yes the legenedary 300 man killer makes it too my list the monster that is one of the real monsters today, lives in the river in berdian Africa. That was one of the best damn giant crocdile movie i seen.

2.Cloverfield(2008) who ever the hell the critic said this movie sucked can just get the crap beaten out of him! i mean come on dammit! it told a giant monster movie in a new angle which was a hit! Clover is one of the most unique monsteri've seen and the only one to make me jump into the theater seat at one scene. (Those who have seen the movie know which scene the monster comes out as a surpise.) And the parasite are awsome the design is amazing.

1. GODZILLA! KING OF MONSTERS(ALL OF THEM) YES THE KING OF KINGS IN THE MONSTER MOVIES HE DESERVES NUMBER ONE SPOT! here's why:

1. He started the giant movie fanchise in america
2. he has his own star in hollywood's walk of fame.
3. my grandma before she died when i was five got me my first godzilla movie and i instantly loved it. Godzilla is the king of kings as i said. He is the most powerful monster i seen, from being netrual backup (from zone fighter) to being good and evil. he is a god in any giant monster movie. and yes i don't like Godzilla made in 1998 the one where he attacked newyork were Tristars pictures, pardon the french please FUCKED HIM UP!
